What is the best way to find what I am looking for? Use the buttons on the left side of the page. Click the articles button and you will be presented with a list of headings. You can click on any heading and you will be presented with all the articles listed under that heading along with a very brief few words about the article. You can click any article and you will be able to read the précis then click more to read the full article. Why not use the search facility instead of the buttons on the left? The search facility is a great feature, however, it has to be used carefully. If you have a distinct word it will search the entire database of about 3 million words and give you an alphabetical list of every article that contains that word. If you were to type in a less specific word, such as ears, it would tell you, at the last count, that there are 1048 articles, 185 authors, 280 research updates, etc. There are, in fact, no articles about ears, no authors and only 2 research updates. When the database is being searched it will look at parts of words as well as whole words. For ears it would pick up the word years and any other words that contained the letters ears. Because there are in the region of 3 million words it can sometimes be quite slow to function, slow in comparison to Google! There is little we can do about that so if you are using the search facility, please be patient. How many people visit the Positive Health website?
