| Wild
Health Natural Preventative and Curative Measures by Cindy
Engel The
Author is a shiatsu practitioner and qualified animal behaviourist, who
sees the health-maintenance strategies used by wild animals as "the
evolutionary genesis of today's holistic medicine". These are strategies
that have survived millions of years of natural selection, and are based
on prevention rather than cure.
Dolphin Assisted Therapy by David Wolgroch Between 1992 and 1995 I served as the Psychological Consultant to the Dolphin Reef in Eilat, Israel. The facility is located in a natural lagoon on the Red Sea Coast. It contained six (and later eight) Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphins which served as the main attraction to the leisure complex offering a swimming beach, beachside pub and club, diving school and educational activities about Dolphins and the Coral Reef. (Very graphic so longish download.) They Shoot Horses but Vaccinate Dogs by Chrissie Mason Ph.D. Have you ever wondered why some dogs or cats continually experience skin problems? Have you ever wondered why your dog has to constantly have its anal glands evacuated? Have you ever wondered why your friend's dog experiences allergies to grass pollens, fleas, house dust mites etc? |
Holistic
Treatment for People and Pets by Midi Fairgrieve If ever there's something wrong with
my dog that doesn't require urgent veterinary attention, I always opt for
complementary treatment. The other day we were both at the chiropractor;
Basil (the dog) had a sprained left shoulder and I had recently cricked
my neck on the left side. "Can you see us together?" I asked,
when making the appointment. The chiropractor in question is trained in
McTimoney-Corley chiropractic and her practice embraces both people and
animals, and so I booked a double appointment. He went first!
