NIDDK http://www.niddk.nih.gov/ The National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Disease from the NIH, an agency of the US Department of Health and Human Services. The diabetes database offered 3 search strategies; Simple, Detailed and Specific. I tried the Specific and got the message "Coming Soon". The Detailed came up with a list of links, each of which gave an abstract with its source (Journal) and an address for the full article, paper etc. This is a site for serious searchers on a specific subject and not for casual surfers. |

The only possible criticism would be that there is very little information on alternative and complementary medicine, which can be very supportive. |
